By Road:

Many national motorways and dual carriage ways runs through Burgos connecting it with other regions and countries. 

 

 

 

 

 

  • The A1 motorway, which connects Burgos with Madrid and the South of Spain, runs through Aranda de Duero, Lerma,Briviesca and Miranda de Ebro.
  • A 620 motorway which connects Burgos with Portugal, Salamanca, Valladolid and Palencia.
  • The A1 reaches until Condado de Treviño, Miranda de Ebro and Burgos joining it to France, Guipúzcoa y Álava, .
  • The A 68 joins Miranda de Ebro with Bilbao.
  • From Cantabria there are numerous roads which run through Burgos. The National N-611 until Aguilar de Campoo and from here the National N-627 until Burgos. The N-623 Burgos-Santander passes through the Puerto del Escudo. From Laredo y Colindres, the National N-629 arrives in Medina de Pomar and for the C-629, from Villarcayo to Burgos.
  • The National N-112 goes through Aranda de Duero and the Ribera Del Duero from Soria.

 

By train:

 The province has two first class train stations in Burgos and in Miranda de Ebro.

The first of which runs from Madrid to Irun and the second joins the Madrid -Irun line with the Castejon -Bilbao line. The Miranda station is an important logistic site with many RENFE workshops and Merchandise Classification Centre

In 2010 work will commence on a High Speed line from Valladolid to Burgos with a distance of 105 kilometres.

By air:

The province also has an airport, which was finished in 2008 and is only 6 km from the centre. During the summer of 2008, Air Nostrum operated flights to Palma de Mallorca and Laguna Air with flights to Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona. The airport is situated between the N1 (north), the A1 (West and the N-120 (south).
